Pullout Test

The pullout test for bolts is a mechanical testing method used to determine the strength and integrity of the bond between a bolt and the material in which it is embedded, such as concrete or masonry. This test is essential in construction and engineering applications where bolts are used to secure structural elements, anchorages, and equipment to concrete or other substrates.

The test measures the force required to pull out a previously cast in steel insert with an embedded enlarged end in the concrete.
